To optimally prepare for a brighter future, mastering English is a must. Realizing this, SMAIT Al Haraki always prepares its teachers and students by taking English language proficiency tests in collaboration with the University of Indonesia (UI) Language Institute. The TOEFL ITP (Test of English as a Foreign Language – Institutional Testing Program), which was carried out, was an important event in this preparation.
On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, TOEFL ITP was conducted to assess the English language proficiency of level 12 school students. The collaborative efforts between SMAIT Al Haraki and the UI Language Institute reflect a commitment to ensuring that students are ready to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
This initiative has significance because students who participate in TOEFL ITP can earn valuable points for their application in the international admissions process.
Before the TOEFL ITP event, students receive special guidance (TOEFL Preparation Class) from level 11. Guidance by English teachers is carried out routinely, focusing on TOEFL material outside of the English lesson schedule. Approaching the TOEFL ITP time at level 12, the TOEFL Preparation Class is held in collaboration with a leading English language course institution in Depok. This special preparation underscores the school’s commitment to providing comprehensive support for its students in their pursuit of English language proficiency.
